Certified Sofer STaM
Torah Scrolls, Tefillin, Mezuzot & Judaica
Traditional scribal work written with halachic accuracy, spiritual care, and devotion.
About me
Certified Sofer STaM
I am a certified Sofer STaM (scribe of Torah scrolls, tefillin, and mezuzot), holding a valid Sofer certification from recognized institutes such as Mishmeret STaM, Yad Rafael, and Lishkat HaKodesh.
This certification includes both theoretical and practical examinations and is renewed every three years, ensuring my writing meets the highest standards of halachic accuracy and ritual integrity.

What I Write

Torah scrolls, tefillin, and mezuzot
Written on high-quality parchment with kosher ink, in Ashkenazi or Sephardi script.

Sacred scrolls
Including Megillat Esther, Shir HaShirim (Song of Songs), Kohelet, Ruth, and Eicha.

Other religious texts
Books of Nevi’im (Prophets), custom Judaic manuscripts, blessings, and psalms.

Custom Judaica art
Hand-written for gifts, celebrations, dedications, and synagogues or institutions.

Repair and restoration
Written on high-quality parchment with kosher ink, in Ashkenazi or Sephardi script.

I immerse in a mikvah daily before writing, to spiritually prepare and sanctify myself for the holy task of sacred writing.

My Approach
Craftsmanship Rooted in Halacha

Each project is carried out with reverence, precision, and devotion
- I write with a traditional feather quill (kulmus), as per the ancient scribal tradition.
- I use hand-made parchment, custom-selected for each project.
- I follow the Kabbalistic Arizal script, with full attention to hilukei havayot (subtle halachic differences) and pesiyot milebar (spacing and form).
- I adhere to the stringencies of the Rashba, along with classic halachic and mystical traditions.
- I maintain ritual purity and mindfulness, including avoiding touching my beard while writing.
- All corrections are done by me personally, ensuring the integrity of the work from start to finish.
- Every item is checked by a certified magiah (halachic proofreader) before delivery.

Why Choose a Certified Sofer?
- Writing STaM requires knowledge of over 4,000 halachic rules, covering letter shape, spacing, tagin (crowns), alignment, and more.
- Even a small error can invalidate the entire mezuzah, tefillin, or Torah scroll.
- Certified sofers are tested in both halacha and handwriting, with an emphasis on kavanah (intent) and yirat shamayim (reverence).
- All work is done with traditional tools – kosher ink, feather quill, authentic parchment, and a specially angled writing desk.
- Valid certification ensures that the writing is not only technically kosher, but also done with spiritual care and precision.
